M.S., CCC-SLP Angelina Tehranian

Angelina, has spent the last 10 years working in education. As a special education teacher, she worked with hundreds of students to develop their academic success and confidence. With my incredible team, the students were recognized for having the highest learning gains in the district and leading inclusion initiatives. She still maintain her teaching certificate, with certification that includes Exceptional Student Education, Elementary Education K-6, Speech-Language Impaired, Reading, and ESOL. While teaching, in order to better support the students, she earned her master’s degree in Communication Science & Disorders through Florida State University. She loves being an SLP and treating both spoken (hearing/speaking) and written (reading/writing) language skills! Developing relationships and celebrating success are the keys to keeping kids engaged and motivated! Outside of education, she loves traveling and spoiling her adorable puppy. She also enjoy reading, watching reruns of classic sitcoms, and trying new restaurants! She loves being part of the Sunshine Literacy team because they use evidence-based practices and see success every day. I’m always happy to see my students and can’t wait to meet my future scholars!
